Sarah and James Smith first visited and lodged with our partners in September, 2016. During that inaugural visit the Smith couple learned of the rescue & recovery efforts carried out by our partners in the aftermath of the April, 2015 earthquake which devastated much of Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital city. From 2002 until 2016 our H4CI partners continued with such humanitarian efforts. During the COVID Pandemic these outreaches expanded.

Since that first meeting in 2016 until now H4CI has helped to facilitate ongoing humanitarian efforts such as food and hygiene items distribution, trauma counseling, child-rescues from human trafficking, and education sponsorship. Collaboration efforts continue to develop and change living conditions for many Nepali citizens.
